I have not purchased a comic book in many years. I believe the last one was Patton Oswalt’s Firely one-shot called Float Out. Well here is a comic book calling me back to Heroes.

I think that the Ultimate Universe has done some really awesome things and its popularity is likely responsible for Hawkeye making the cut in the Avengers movie. I loved the Hawkeye mini-series that introduced Mockingbird and set the stage for the West Coast Avengers and I’m very excited to see him get the solo Ultimate treatment.

On a side note, if Patton Oswalt and Joss Whedon had a love child it would look like, well, a very talented geek.
